STARS Program

The crews at Black Jack Fire Protection District participate in the Special Needs Tracking and Awareness Response System (STARS). This system ensures that children with unique or rare medical conditions or those with disabilities receive the specialized care they need.

Through STAR participation, Black Jack has access to medical information for the participating patients. First responders use the system to learn about the specific care instructions for each child.
